1978년, 일본의 ‘데논’ 레이블을 통해 발매된 야노스 슈타커의 2번째 유명 첼로 소품집(첫번째는 [Janos Starker plays The Most Beautiful Melodies] 앨범)으로, 그의 내면의 깊숙한 모습과 낭만적인 표현을 모두 담고 있기에 슈타커의 팬이라면 꼭 들어보아야 할 진귀한 앨범입니다. 데논 레이블과의 공식적인 라이선스 계약을 통해 마침내, 오리지널 초반 아트웍과 오디오파일을 위한 고품격 바이닐(LP)로 리이슈 발매됩니다!

슈타커와의 오랜 동반자인, 죄르지 세복의 제자인 시게오 네리키의 피아노 반주 위에 펼쳐지는 슈타커의 풍윤한 볼륨감과 아름다운 선율미, 화사하게 펼쳐지는 음색의 팔레트는 그의 다른 협주곡, 실내악 녹음들에서는 미처 경험할 수 없었던 또 다른 첼로 예술의 매력이라고 말할 수 있습니다. 슈타커가 의도했던 "첼로 소리가 아닌 음악을 만들고 싶었다"라는 그 진실된 마음을 이 음반으로 충분히 느껴 보시기 바랍니다.
